Before you enter our e-shop and browse our webpage, please refer to the following terms and conditions, which specifically apply to the use of the online store www.antoniakatifeli.com. In these Terms and Conditions, the user of the website is referred to as “you”, “your”, “the Customer” or “the User” and the provider of website is referred to as “Antonia Katifeli”, “www.antoniakatifeli.com”, “the website”, “we”, “us” or “our”. Make sure you agree with the following terms and conditions, because further use and navigation of the said webpage and its hyperlinks, implies your express and unreserved consent to them. If you do not agree with its terms and conditions, kindly do not use this website.

1. Terms

The e-shop www.antoniakatifeli.com maintains the right to unilaterally amend or renew these terms and conditions for transactions performed through its e-shop according to its needs and honest practices.

2. Limited liability

The e-shop of www.antoniakatifeli.com shall not be liable for any technical problems which may be experienced by users when attempting to access the website and during their access related to the operation or compatibility of their own infrastructure with the use of the website. Moreover, www.antoniakatifeli.com shall not be held liable for third-party acts or omissions and, particularly, unauthorized third-party interventions to products and/or services and/or information available online.

3. User’s obligations

The users of www.antoniakatifeli.com accept that they shall not use the contents of this website to send, publish, e-mail or in any other way propagate any contents that are illegal, harmful, threatening, offensive, disturbing, defamatory, slanderous, vulgar, indecent, libelous, in breach of another party’s privacy, show empathy or express racial, ethnic or other discrimination, or that may harm minors in any way. Such contents may not be propagated under the law or contractual or managerial relations. Contents in breach of a patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other third-party rights, including software viruses or any other codes, files or programs designed to interrupt, damage, destroy or impede the operation of any software or hardware, intentionally or unintentionally in violation of the current Greek and EU legislations and provisions, contents which may harass third parties in any way and any content used to collect or save user’s personal data may not be propagated.

4. Transaction Privacy

All information transferred by the user/member to www.antoniakatifeli.com is confidential and the company has taken all necessary measures so that it is used to the extent necessary to provide services. Our website shall not disclose customer or transaction data, unless you have provided a written authorization or if such is mandated by a court order or a decision by any other public authority. In case where www.antoniakatifeli.com uses third parties to support its systems, it shall make sure privacy is secured. Our website has SSL certificate, a cryptographic protocol designed to provide communications security between the user and the server over a computer network. For your safety, you should also treat all information provided through the service as confidential and private and not proceed to their disclosure to third parties.

All webpage contents posted at www.antoniakatifeli.com including images, graphics, photographs, designs, texts, services and products provided are the intellectual property of Antonia Katifeli protected under current Greek and EU legislation and international contracts. It is strictly prohibited to copy, record analogically/digitally and reproduce, distribute, transfer, download, process, resale, produce resulting work or mislead the public about the actual provider of website contents. Any reproduction, republication, download, announcement, propagation or dissemination or any other use of contents in any way or medium for trade or other purposes shall be allowed only following a prior written consent by Antonia Katifeli. Names, images, logos and trademarks representing Antonia Katifeli and/or the e-shop www.antoniakatifeli.com are exclusive signs and trademarks of Antonia Katifeli and/or www.antoniakatifeli.com and subject to the Greek, EU and international legislation on trademarks, industrial & intellectual property and unfair competition. In all cases, their display and appearance on the website www.antoniakatifeli.com webpage should not, in any way, be considered to assign or transfer the license or right to use them.

6. Payment Method

The e-shop www.antoniakatifeli.com cooperates with Piraeus Bank for debit/credit card payment services. Payment using credit cards is an absolutely safe payment method for our clients. Our e-shop shall never become aware of your card or account information. To pay the order, you shall be redirected to the dedicated Piraeus Bank webpage without any contact in any case with data and details of your credit card. This information shall be transferred by you using encrypted connection to Piraeus Bank through the bank’s safe transaction systems. When placing an order, the purchase agreement shall be concluded once your payment transfer is concluded. All transactions are completed in Euros (€).

7. Shipping Terms

We strive to deliver products in excellent condition and in the fastest time possible. However, due to the impact of Covid-19 subsequent shipping delays may occur. Therefore, we have no control over the timeframe in which your order will be delivered.

Fine Art prints usually get shipped within 7-10 working days.

Original artwork may require up to 20 working days for quality control and packaging.

We only make use of reliable courier companies and/or Speed Post. Our company is not liable for any delays in delivery by the courier company/speed post or on account of any factors beyond the control of our company.

If a non-delivery or late delivery occurs due to a mistake by the user (i.e. wrong or incomplete name or address or recipient not available) any extra cost spent by us for re-delivery shall be claimed from the user placing the order. We may request payment of this extra cost in advance, in case it's deemed necessary.

The studio is operated in Athens, Greece and is not liable for import fees on any products purchased. This includes but is not limited to original paintings, fine art prints and any other product on sale in our online shop.

It is your responsibility to pay any duties, value added tax or other similar charges. If you refuse to pay these additional amounts, your delivery will be returned to us. Provided that the product is in its original condition, we will refund you the cost of your purchase (minus the costs of shipping to and from your country).

Items are declared at purchase value for exporting and under no circumstance will documents be falsified.

8. Returns & Cancellations

Please choose your artwork carefully as all sales are final. We do not accept returns/refunds.

We do not take liability for goods once they are in the possession of the customer. It is not our duty to refund, exchange, replace or compensate by any means for the damage of products within the care of customers.

All product descriptions are clear and concise. It is not our duty to compensate customers who do not read the information provided within before purchase. This applies to any and all public pages within www.antoniakatifeli.com.

Cancellation

Request for cancellation of an order once placed on www.antoniakatifeli.com shall be handled on a case to case basis and may be denied in case it deems necessary to do so.

Original Artwork: If your order has not been shipped yet and you want to make a cancellation request, please send us an email as soon as possible and within 24 hours from the time of the placed order at info@antoniakatifeli.com. If a cancellation request comes up right before the product leaves our studio, we will try to hold the shipment but there is no guarantee that the cancellation request will be honored.

Fine Art Prints: No cancellation is applicable for fine art prints once the order is placed as every item is printed on demand.

Unfortunately, we cannot cancel orders once the shipment is out of our studio for delivery. Orders from outside of Greece cannot be cancelled once placed. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding on this matter.

Refunds

Refunds are only possible for orders whose cancellation request has been accepted. As it has been stated above, this is only possible for orders including original artwork whose cancellation request has been sent to our email within 24 hours of its online purchase.

If the payment was by credit/ debit card or net-banking, the money will be refunded to your credit/ debit card or net-banking account, respectively. Typically, refunds are processed between 15 working days. Please note that we depend on the credit card issuing bank to ensure that the money is refunded to your account. We only control the release of funds from our side. There is little we can do in case there is a delay from the bank’s end.

Fine Art prints are created on demand thus are not refundable.

Damages

If you notice any serious damage to the outside of the package please do not sign for the delivery and contact us immediately.

If you notice damage upon unpacking your artwork, contact us within 48 hours of receiving the artwork with digital images of the damage. If we find that the product was damaged in transit we will endeavor to replace the item with the same artwork or one of your choice within the same value.

If the product is damaged or affected in any way on account of improper, reckless use, disregard of care instructions provided, we assume no liability for the damage or any shortcomings in the make or quality of the product.
